How many units can I complete each day?
WI State law only allows a student to complete up to four (4) units per day. The WPDSA Online DE Program counts the number of times the “Completed” button is clicked on each day.
Once you reach to 4 units per day maximum, the program will lock all units exept Unit 01. You will then need to wait until the next day to access the units.
How do I check what lessons registered as completed?
Every lesson will have a progress bar. A full green progress bar means that the lesson has been completed.
What do I do when I have completed the program?
Once you have completed the WPDSA Online Driver’s Education Program, you MUST contact the driving school you are registered with to determine what your next step in the driver’s education process is.
The Wisconsin Professional Driving School Association does NOT provide the in-car road lessons. The driving school you are registered with will provide you with the information needed for the in-car road lessons.
How do I find out my username and password for the program?
Your username and password were setup when you registered. Your username is the email that you registered with. If you have forgotten your password there is a forgot your password link on the login page to help you reset your password.
How do I know if I passed a unit exam?
There will be immediate displayed results that will show you your results once you click submit.
How long do I have to complete the program?
You have 6 months to complete the program. If you need longer than 6 months, please contact the driving school you are registered with for additional time.
How do I get the temps?
You MUST contact the driving school you are registered with for the information and/or paperwork needed to get the temps (instructional permit).
WPDSA Online does NOT provide any in-car road lessons. In-car road lessons MUST be provided by a WI DOT licensed driving school.
How do I see what questions I got wrong on the unit exams?
You are NOT able to see what exam questions you got incorrect. WI State requirements do NOT allow WPDSA to provide you with the incorrect questions and answers.
If you failed the unit exam, you may retake the unit exam until you receive a passing score. Remember, you are only allowed to complete up to 4 units per day. If you submit a unit exam 4 times in one day, that will count towards the 4 day maximum.
What do I do if I failed a unit exam?
If you fail a unit exam, just retake the unit exam. There is currently no limit on the number of times you may take a unit exam. Just keep taking the unit exam until you receive a passing score.
Having troubles signing in?
- Confirm that your email is correct
- Confirm that your password is correct
- Reset password to get new password and try signing in again
Unable to access areas due to administrative hold?
An Administrative hold is put in place by the institution and you will need to reach out to them in order to gain more information about the hold and to get the hold removed.
Once the old is removed you may need to refresh your page to regain access to the areas that were previously blocked.
Unable to move on to next unit?
There is a state wide requirement that only allows a certain amount of curriculum to be worked through in a day. This resets every day at midnight.
Unit section video will not play?
Start by checking your internet connection. If that is working correctly it may be an issue with the connection quality that would lead to longer load times.
Another issue could be the number of devices connected to the same network causing a slower connection speed.
If everything seems to be working and the video still wont play then please reach out to your institution so they can look into the issue
